This album contains five musical excursions into deeper states of consciousness. You lift off and drift like a balloon aloft in a soft ethereal sky, floating on a choir of voices across the Threshold... exploring limitless space.

As the album cover shows, upon this Threshold dwells the awesome sight of the archetypal lower nature - all fused into one glorious golden personality. This 'Dweller' represents all that we are in the world.

The musical journey on The Threshold is about lifting consciousness above and beyond our daily mundane reality and to focus our awareness on the higher and deeper parts of our beingness.

These tracks are excerpts from the music created for Jan Poole and her 'Light Within' series of three healing albums. The pieces were designed around specific visions and imagery which is, to some degree, still imprinted energetically in the music.
